These are the prime months for fishing the Great Barrier Reef light tackle. These are our winter months with cool temps in the mornings and nights, but glamorous warm days.

The variety of species is second to none which includes juvenile Black Marlin, Sailfish, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish), Yellow Fin Tuna, Blue Fin Tuna, Wahoo, GiantTrevally, CoralTrout, Red Emperor, Large Mouth Nannygai, and the list goes on.
We offer day trips leaving from the Marlin Marina or overnight extended trips that can all be tailored to your needs, you pick your target species and let us do the rest.
During this time, we also offer reef trips for snorkelling, diving, whale watching or even a day just lazing around on some of our many sand quays enjoying some great local food and sipping on anicy cold beer or wine.
